The tasks of the LPK (Camp Plan Coordinator) are many-sided

  • Planning and coordination of the space requirements of your camp and its participants
  • to be in contact with the organisation and to actively coordinate the planning.
  • be on the field, one day before the construction team and at the latest on Saturday before the DF to the event to mark out the camp and to design or coordinate final details.
  • Leaving the event when the camp has been completely dismantled and the space has been taken over by the DFs own LPK together with the organisation.
  • Attending at least one LPK meeting per event is important
  • To be a link and not only to represent the position of the participants, but also, in turn, to represent the position of the organiser.

As you can see here, the field of activity is not exactly small, even if there are "only" 6 tasks, these tasks are heavy loaded with challenges. An LPK spends most of its time planning the camp, this is not only the planning of the groups but also the arrangement with the other camps and with Wyvern as the organiser.
These arrangements happen regularly in a so called LPK / LBK team meeting but also on a RL meeting at Wyvern which usually takes place about 4 weeks before the DF on a Saturday.

The LPK and every other members of the organisation team of a camp do this work because they like to do it, not because they get money for it, because that's exactly what they don't get for their work. The work in the camp's internal organization team is an volunteer work, without which it would not be possible..
